A partnership with Architecture de Collection.

Located in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, this 300 m2 house, is the fruit of a collaboration between the owner and the architect Janusz Matecki (ATELIER 3, Monaco 1960-1978).
It overlooks the sea and offers a sublime view as far as Monaco, a few kilometres away. Commissioned by a world-renowned artist, the house follows the slope of a 1,600 m2 terraced plot. Built in 1977, it is organized around the central workshop. The aim was to allow the artist to create, live and receive his friends and clients in a unique place. The architecture has modernist features but is also inspired by local architectural elements. This architectural trend aimed to distance itself from modern architecture, which was too replicable and did not fully capture the “genius loci”.
With its traditional tiled roofs and terraces, the building fits perfectly into the local built landscape.

We like : the location in absolute calm, walking to the village center, the view, the architecture of the seventies.

Asking price : 4,5 M€ agency fees included at seller charge.
